Our weekly Selection: The Blockbusters

Weeks after weeks, developers are jumping on the bandwagon of Virtual Reality (VR). Gaming in VR is a vast and ongoing workshop. Nonetheless titles, which were available on non-VR environment and have proven to be to be successfully with the gaming community, slowly come to life in VR.

Out of the four following games, three are developed by Bethesda Softworks, a well-established company in the gaming industry.

DOOM VFR

DOOM is one of the first-person shooters in the history of video games which became the celebrated and prominent series. The series offers a game environment rather demoniac and bloody. The game is the story of an organisation called UAC in charge of the exploitation and the mining on Mars. Secretly UAC pursues some inter-dimensional experimentation with the Hell. Things, of course go wrong. The creatures of the Hell invite themselves on Mars through an inter-dimensional portal open accidentally. The hero incarnates a heavily-armed Marine in charge of closing the portal. On his way, sympathetic demoniac creatures as obstacle.
DOOM VFR brings the fast-paced, brutal gameplay fans of the series love to virtual reality. Play as a cybernetic survivor who is activated by the UAC to fight the demon invasion, maintain order, and prevent catastrophic failure at the Mars facility. Lay waste to an army of demonic foes as you explore and interact with the outlandish world of DOOM from an entirely new perspective.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR

Winner of more than 200 Game of the Year Awards, Skyrim is an action role-playing video game in an epic fantasy.
The game's main story revolves around the player character's quest to defeat Alduin the World-Eater, a dragon who is prophesied to destroy the world. The game takes place in the fictional province of Skyrim. Over the course of the game, the player completes quests and develops the character by improving skills. The game continues the open-world tradition of its predecessors by allowing the player to travel anywhere in the game world at any time, and to ignore or postpone the main storyline indefinitely.
Skyrim VR reimagines the complete epic fantasy masterpiece with an unparalleled sense of scale, depth, and immersion. From battling ancient dragons to exploring rugged mountains and more, Skyrim VR brings to life a complete open world for you to experience any way you choose. Fallout 4 VR

As the sole survivor of Vault 111, you enter an open world destroyed by nuclear war.
The player assumes control of a character referred to as the "Sole Survivor", who emerges from a long-term cryogenic stasis in Vault 111, an underground nuclear fallout shelter.
Your mission is to rebuild and determine the fate of the Wasteland. The post-apocalyptic action role-playing video game takes you on an adventure with a freedom of exploring the wasteland. Based on the game Fallout 4, the gameplay has been revamped with new combat, crafting, and building systems.

Project CARS 2

Project CARS 2 is a car simulation after the first opus released May 2015.
Beefed up with accessories to buy separately, the studio Slightly Mad Studios created the game composed of 182 cars from 38 manufacturers and a variety of car and race car classes, new additions including the Honda Civic, Jaguar XJ220, Toyota GT-86 and Nissan R89C. The game also has a larger track roster, with 46 tracks (containing 121 layouts), the majority being laser scanned circuits, and new additions including Fuji Speedway, Knockhill, Long Beach and the Dirtfish rallycross track.
A new time and weather system have also been included in-game which can allow multiple different changing weather conditions and changes within a given season (winter, spring, summer, autumn). A new game physics engine called LiveTrack 3.0 has also been included, bringing realistic track conditions throughout a race weekend.
